Our History

Roy was only 14 in 1928 when he started working for his father Walter Royal Parr at the newly established antique furniture restoration business in Thompson's Lane. Neither of them would have guessed then that the firm would still be looking after some of Cambridge's treasures 80 years later. From their new workshops in Isleham (near Cambridge, Newmarket and Ely) "Parrs" are still carrying on the traditional ways of looking after good furniture in the 21st century.
