WELCOME TO ISLEHAM

Isleham is a rural village lying in the south-east corner of Cambridgeshire in England. It is situated about 6 miles north east of Newmarket, and 8 miles from Ely, and is about 5 miles from Mildenhall.

Isleham has a population of about 2,200.

It has 3 churches: High Street Baptist, Pound Lane Free Church and St. Andrews Church. There are 5 shops in the village: a Co-op supermarket, a Chinese Takeaway , a general store, a newsagents and a Post Office Stores. There are 3 Public Houses.

The Bowls club, Comrades social club and the Village Hall are available for private functions.

On the recreation ground are the cricket and football pitches, an all weather surface for tennis etc. and a childrens playground.

There is a pre-school playgroup and a primary school catering for four and a half to eleven year olds.
